Aaron Walker was the head speaker for the day. A Nashville native and successful businessman. Walker has owned and operated more than 12 businesses, including View from the Top, in the Nashville community. He is currently the owner of a new venture called Interview Valet. This particular business is positioned to be a great asset to local podcasters.
Interview Valet is a concierge white glove service that is a two-part service. It helps podcasters get quality guests on their shows. In turn, Interview Valet gives guests quality shows that are geared to their target audience to interview them.
Walker mentors and provides life and business coaching to men primarily. He helps ordinary men become better business people by teaching them to have values, morals, and a better business sense. While Walker focuses on men, his advice can be taken by women as well.
As podcasters who wish to monetize their craft, one of the keys mentioned by Walker is to diversify one’s platforms. Walker was able to start a podcast, build an audience, but he did not stop there. Walker provides content across other social media platforms such as Facebook Live as well. The goal of podcasting is to create quality content and have it reach as many people as possible. Walker from his podcasts has book deals and seminars. These are also monetary ventures that feed back into his podcasting as well.
At the end of the Nashville Podcaster’s meeting, Walker greeted each attendee individually imparted as much knowledge as he could on a personal level. As a new podcaster, listening to a veteran in the podcast business brings a sense of hope that anyone with a topic and a voice can spread their own message.
