Being a Bawse is more than being a boss when it comes to women entrepreneurs. Lilly “IISuperwomanII” Singh describes a Bawse as someone that not only conquers their job but their overall life.

Ranked as #30 best place for business and careers by Forbes 2016 poll, Nashville is a growing city for businesses. In 2016, Fortune named Nashville in the 10 Best Cities for Women-Owned Business.

Calandra Darden is amongst those entrepreneurs that owns her own business. Calandra is the owner of Bright Side Cleaning based out of Madison, TN. Calandra is a bawse. She has been working in the cleaning industry for two and a half years and with Bright Side Cleaning for one and half years.

For Calandra owning her own business gives her the freedom to set her own hours and be involved more in her children’s lives. While being her own boss has its benefits, working a job she truly believes in fulfils her as well.

Meeting different people and being able to make a difference in others’ lives, Calandra says is the most satisfying part of her job. For a free estimate on commercial or residential cleaning, contact Bright Side Cleaning at brightsidecleaning01@gmail.com.
